Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurological disease where your body’s immune system mistakenly attacks itself—specifically, the protective coating on your nerve fibers (myelin). As myelin is damaged, your brain can’t send signals correctly. Picture your brain as a smartphone, sending a bajillion texts a day. MS is the bad cell service stopping those messages from getting to where they need to go. Unfortunately, MS gets worse over time and leads to varying degrees of impairment.
